Winterborne Bicycle Institute (WBI) celebrated a successful first year, delivering two over-subscribed bicycle mechanics courses to bike shop owners and mechanics, and a third and smaller course in the Spring for home mechanics. WBI presented certificates to 22 students who successfully completed the intensive 11-day hands-on course.

"Conestoga [College] has a successful history in partnering with industry to deliver courses that meet economic needs while offering students enhanced job prospects" says Dan Pierdra, director, continuing education of Conestoga College.
That pattern continues with the announcement of the College's partnership with the newly launched Winterborne Bicycle Institute, which will offer an 11-day immersion course in bicycle mechanics for the Canadian bicycle industry.
